The 2018 Venice Film Festival is the last big red carpet of the summer. It’s also an event that marks the beginning of the movie Awards Season. In terms of jewelry trends, there are diamonds galore and almost diamonds exclusively. The way they have been being worn, almost minimally, would suggest a return to nineties styles. If it is a real shift from the maximalist looks and pops of color that have marked the red carpet for several seasons remains to be seen. It is something we are watching closely in the months to come.
