The Best Jewels Worn at Cannes So Far

Adventurous styles have been on display at the French Film Festival

by Marion Fasel

July 11, 2021—Rebellious personal style was the mode fashion prognosticators almost universally predicted we would see once people were freed from covid lockdowns. Well, it has absolutely proven to be true not only for fashions but also in jewelry. This new age of individuality could be seen all over the red carpet during the first week of the Cannes Film Festival.

Stars chose daring bold pieces from the brand-new High Jewelry collections that just bowed in Paris. Formal ear cuffs and single earrings showed up a few times. The men’s jewelry mode went way passed just the brooch to a headband and pendant earrings. And there was a cool factor to the formality and the way things were styled. It all jibed perfectly with the general spirit of joy and excitement in the air that the film festival was back.

See our favorite jewels and find out more about them below.
