The Film Independent Spirit Awards honored groundbreaking films in a significantly more relaxed mode than the Oscars tomorrow night. They were held on a beach under a big tent in Santa Monica during the day. The jewelry worn by some of the stars perfectly reflected the spirit of the Indie’s. It was created by a few of the most visionary independent designers working today. Other pieces spotted on the blue carpet were just cool jewels.

Tilda Swinton matched her blue manicure to the blue enamel in the diamond and gold Duchess ring by Solange Azabury-Partridge on her finger.
Glen Close brought along her Havanese, Pip for her walk down the blue carpet in custom Sies Marjan and a Ana Khouri diamond and ruby Alexa ear piece.
In some real life styling, Dakota Johnson wore a blue silk scrunchie by jewelry designer Sophie Buhai as a bracelet on the blue carpet with her Gucci dress. She also had small gold huggies from the jewelry designer that were more or less covered up by her hair.
Laura Dern wore a diamond chain earring by Ana Khouri with a white Azzedine Alaia dress.
Dawn-Lyen Gardner wore Chrome Hearts earrings and a Lowe dress.
KiKi Layne wore artistic jewels with her Chole dress featuring a gem motif.
Toni Collette wore a pink dress with joyful star pendant earrings.
Elsie Fisher wore an Ok pin on her blazer. The piece was custom made by 10,000 Things in New York to pay tribute to her movie Eight Grade.
Emmy Raver-Lampman wore square hoops with her one-shoulder dress.
Victoria Hill wore a Chanel cuff with a one-shoulder dress.
Lakeith Stanfield wore three gold necklaces from Beladora with his turtleneck and suit.
