Highlights on the Schedule of NYC Jewelry Week

There is a lot going on

by The Adventurine Editors

New York City Jewelry Week officially launches today and has events through November 24, 2019. We have taken a look at the activities on the calendar and it is impressive. Truth: it is a little overwhelming. So how do you choose? It’s not easy. In fact, it has taken us several passes over schedule to make any reasonable edit. See highlights below. Go to NYC Jewelry week website for the complete calendar.

Exhibitions

There are a couple of displays of vintage jewelry that are a wonderful way to participate in the activities on your own watch. At La Vielle Russie centrally located on Fifth Avenue and 57th Street check out Deceptively Modern: Jewelry From the 1940s-1980s. At the Ilias LaLaounis Jewelry Museum on the Upper Eastside is Rings: 1957-2019, Legends and Tales from Athens to New York.

Talks and Tours are being held throughout the day and night of NYCJW.
