Naomi Biden and Peter Neal both wore Tiffany
November 21, 2022—When President Biden’s 28-year-old granddaughter Naomi King Biden, walked down the aisle on the South Lawn on Saturday to marry her longtime boyfriend, 25-year-old Peter Neal, they became the 19th couple to wed at the White House since it was established over 200-years ago.
“It has been a joy to watch Naomi grow, discover who she is, and carve out such an incredible life for herself,” said the President and First Lady. “Now, we are filled with pride to see her choose Peter as her husband and we’re honored to welcome him to our family. We wish them days full of laughter and a love that grows deeper with every passing year.”
For the occasion, the bride and groom, who are both lawyers, looked at once modern and classic at their instantly historic wedding. The bride’s Ralph Lauren gown was inspired by Grace Kelly’s wedding dress created by MGM costume designer Helen Rose in 1956. While Naomi didn’t have the buttons on her dress like Grace, her veil appeared even more dramatic than the one worn by the Hollywood royal. I suspect it will inspire a wave of extra-long veils in the future.
The groom looked impeccable in a Ralph Lauren three-piece navy suit.
“Something borrowed” for the bride and the groom came from Tiffany. They also chose platinum and diamond wedding bands from the jeweler. Find out more below.
Naomi Biden added delicate sparkle and luster to her wedding gown with Tiffany Victoria earrings in platinum with South Sea pearls and diamonds.
The jewels were reminiscent of the earrings Jennifer Lopez wore during her August wedding to Ben Affleck.
Naomi’s engagement ring is an elegant emerald-cut diamond engagement ring from the Washington, D.C. jeweler Shah & Shah. Similar to her Grace Kelly-inspired wedding dress, Naomi’s ring is reminiscent of the Hollywood icon’s emerald-cut diamond engagement ring.
She paired the jewel with a Tiffany diamond and platinum wedding band Peter slipped on her hand at the wedding ceremony.
Peter Neal wore a Schlumberger for Tiffany Single Daisy Brooch in platinum and yellow gold with diamonds. The jewel was not only on-trend in terms of men in brooches, it also sweetly echoed the flower pattern in Naomi’s dress.
For his wedding band, Peter chose a Tiffany Essential Band Double Milgrain Ring in platinum with a diamond.
