During the heyday of Sex and the City, Sarah Jessica Parker must have launched a thousand jewelry trends.  There was something about the way she layered on important jewelry as easily as she tossed on her “Carrie” nameplate necklace that made the looks totally fresh and inspirational.  Since the show ended, not much has changed about the way Parker wears her jewels on the red carpet and off.  She still has a flair that is unmatched by any other star.

Now, SJP has team up with a jewelry designer to infuse her style into a collection.  Parker says of her partner in jewelry, the London based Kat Florence who is known for her one-of-a-kind pieces, “Kat allows for an intimate way to wear jewelry.”

The Flawless Diamonds Collection the duo has launched together extends the Kat Florence collection to a more accessible price range than the designer’s masterworks.  The starting price is $1,600.  The collection includes lots of eternity bands, wide band rings and stud earrings.  There are a few splashy pieces such as pendant necklaces and earrings.  Eventually the collection will grow to include 120 jewels.  To maintain a special quality to the collection, each jewel will be limited edition of 10 to 15 pieces.

To celebrate the launch of the line Sarah Jessica Parker posed for lensman Peter Lindbergh wearing some jewelry from the collection.  See the photos in the slide show above and a watch a mood video of the shoot below.
