The MET Gala red carpet was jammed with jewelry. And the cool thing about the Party of the Year is that stars, stylists and jewelry designers all get in the spirit of the event by posting behind-the scenes shots and close-up images of jewelry on Instagram. I have been combing through the images all week so you don’t have to. See the best of the bunch below.

Jewelry designer Hanut Singh posted this fabulous shot of Blake Lively before she put on her gown with her escort for the evening Christian Louboutin. The shoe designer is wearing Hanut’s prayer bead Mala necklace composed of rock crystal, enamel, melon-cut hydra, onyx and diamonds.

Stylist Kate Young put a jewelry icon on ice for her Instagram post teasing the diamond pieces her client Selena Gomez wore on the red carpet. The ring was designed by Jean Schlumberger for Tiffany ages ago and remains a treasure in the collection. It features bees surrounding a single diamond.

Tiffany’s Instagram was filled with sensational images of stars wearing Tiffany jewels. Zendaya became Joan of Arc in her custom Versace light up with Tiffany rings and a ball necklace.

A close up of Nicki Minaj on the Tiffany Instagram not only showed her gorgeous Tiffany jewels it also gave a detailed look at the star’s amazing manicure and hair ornament.

Marla Aaron showed just how 360-views of MET Gala attendees can be with Instagram photo of director Reed Morano who was wear the designers Cross Lock necklace in her hair.  The piece features 25 carats of diamonds, garnets, rubies, sapphires and emeralds.
