February 19, 2021—I am old enough to remember the early days of Jennifer Fisher’s jewelry business. She worked out of a small office space on the border of Soho and Nolita in Manhattan and ran it with the same kind of energy she has today. Flash forward over 10-years, the designer has catapulted into becoming a popular culture phenomenon.
You don’t have to look far for Jennifer’s high-profile jewelry moments. Once you know her work you see it everywhere. Turn on CNN and you’ll usually spot Chief White House Correspondent Kaitlan Collins in her big JF hoops. If you stream Tracy Anderson workouts, you’ll see the fitness guru in her little JF heart necklace. When you turn on the Today show, chances are the host Savannah Guthrie will be in her signature JF charm necklace.
Then there all the celebrities who routinely sport JF signature hoops including, Jennifer Lopez, Hailey Bieber, Alicia Keys, Emily Ratajkowski and former First Lady Michelle Obama. I could go on—and on—but I think you get the point.
All of this magic happened because Jennifer has had a vision about jewelry and a can-do attitude about getting her designs out in the world.
Now, in the midst of a pandemic when countless retail locations are closing, Jennifer is opening a boutique in Los Angeles. It was planned well in advance of the coronavirus outbreak, but she deserves a lot of credit for staying on schedule and throwing open the doors under extenuating circumstances.
The 1,200-square foot shop is located at 450 North Canon Drive in Beverly Hills. The minimalist space, designed by Jennifer in collaboration with interior designer Michelle Gerson, has exposed brick walls, industrialized lighting fixtures with monochromatic hardware and pieces from Fisher’s home collection made in collaboration with CB2.
“I’m excited to open our doors in Los Angeles, it feels like a homecoming for my family, with my husband and I both born and raised in California,” explains Jennifer. “LA is one of our biggest markets with a clientele that really responds to the styling and design of the jewelry—the collection fits very well with west coast style.”
If you are in Los Angeles, make an appointment by emailing sales@jenniferfisherjewelry.com to swing by the boutique that is carefully following COVID-19 safety guidelines. If you are not able to attend in person, shop Jennifer’s collection online.
