Muse Launches a Holiday Pop-Up in Manhattan

The chic little boutique is filled with jewelry and so much more

by Marion Fasel

November 27, 2020—I love sparkle scrolling down my Instagram feed and browsing through beautiful baubles. Really, who doesn’t? But you know what is infinitely better? Seeing jewelry in person, trying a few things on, or better yet acquiring a jewel to give as a holiday gift to yourself or someone else.

Well, now there is a new holiday pop-up in the West Village of New York City where you can do just that. The Muse pop-up is like the beloved MusexMuse Instagram feed come to life.

Since the space opened in mid-November, it has become something of a regular place to stop by for me and my neighborhood pals.

The little shop is warm and welcoming and loaded with great jewelry.

There are dreamy designs from international super talents Nikos Koulis, Silvia Furmanovich, Elie Top, Holly Dyment and Christina Alexiou among others.

There are items you can’t find anywhere else in New York City including Tara Hirshberg’s Constellation collection, the Pearl ID pieces by W. Rosado, the imaginative designs of Castro as well as the alluring vintage inspired jewels from Jenna Blake.

There are countless cool jewels from designers including Buddha Mama, 10,000 Things, Bea Bongiasca and Anna Maccieri Rossi.

And there is a full case of irresistible charms from the famous Have A Heart collaboration. A purchase of many of these pieces give a portion of the sales proceeds to a charity.

I could go on and on about the jewelry, but there is more than just jewelry that fills the little shop of holiday cheer. The inventory includes cozy “Have A Heart” sweaters and sleeping eye masks by Lingua Franca and cool cashmere pullovers from Leret Leret. There are custom Muse candles and vintage glassware from The End of History.

A couple of celebrated New York tastemakers are represented in the offerings. Stacy London has curated a selection of delightful vintage glassware from her Small Beautiful Things collection. There are also colorful wood trays and objects from Lateral Objects by Stefan Beckman, the set designer behind Marc Jacobs fashion shows.

You can also pick up a jewelry book as a stocking stuffer. I have swing by to sign copies of my book Beautiful Creatures: Jewelry Inspired By The Animal Kingdom. Jewels That Made History by Stellene Volandes is also available.

The pop-up is located at 605 Hudson Street in the West Village through the holiday season. If you can’t make it to the location, you can shop the jewels on MuseXMuse.com or email info@musexmuse.com to book a Zoom with the sales staff to see everything on display and shop remotely.
