There were bold necklaces, grand earrings and great bracelets

January 7, 2024—Since the various strikes ended in Hollywood there have been red carpet events, but nothing quite as big as the Golden Globes. The stars seemed to enjoy being back in big time glamour mode or at least their clothes reflected a sense of joy in dressing up.

There was almost mid-century formality to many of the fit and flare gowns, lots of black lace numbers and some really bold colors. Hello Barbie!

A few stars left jewels off almost entirely and it really felt forgotten, but then there were those that sparkled plenty in bold statement necklaces and grand earrings.

Margot Robbie continued to support her film Barbie by dressing in an ensemble that referenced one of the doll’s archival gowns. She accessorized the hot pink dress with 30 Carat Lorraine Schwartz Diamond studs and a 3 Carat D Flawless old cut Golconda Diamond ring with Natural Vivid Pink Diamonds. The total value of the Lorraine Schwartz jewels was $3-million.

In support of The Color Purple, Oprah wore Chopard earrings featuring two amethysts totaling 97.39-carats, 3.10 carats of diamonds and 6.34 carats of pink sapphires from the Haute Joaillerie Collection.

Taylor Swift wore an array of jewels from De Beers including Arpeggia Three Line 9.09 carat Diamond Earrings, Arpeggia 4.71 carat Long Diamond Earrings, Classic Round Brilliant 2-carat Diamond and Platinum Stud Earrings and a Dewdrop Ear Cuff.

Lily Gladstone continued her support of indigenous designers magnificently pairing earrings from Lenise Omeasoo from Antelope Women Designs with a Bulgari diamond necklace.

Jennifer Lawrence wore a Tiffany necklace with over 11-carats of diamonds set in platinum and gold from the 2023 Tiffany Blue Book Collection that was reminiscent, if not exactly the same necklace Beyoncé tried on and posted on Instagram recently. Jennifer paired the necklace with Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany Sea Coral earrings in gold and platinum with diamonds and sapphires weighing over 6 carats.

Florence Pugh wore a Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany necklace with earrings in platinum and gold highlighted by fancy intense yellow diamonds as well as her own signature septum ring among other jewels.

Best Actress winner for her role in The Bear television series, Ayo Edebiri wore Boucheron Pompon diamond pendant earrings.

Julianne Moore wore Cartier Beautés du Monde High Jewelry rose gold necklace set with yellow and white diamonds and petrified wood as well as C de Cartier rose gold and diamond earrings.
