If we lived in a different era, what the anonymous twenty-something woman behind the Bread Face Blog does on her Instagram would be called performance art. Now it’s referred to as ASMR, compelling content for the internet age. In virtually every post she crafts, Bread Face lovingly and hilariously squeezes, caresses, organizes, beats and rolls her face in biscuits, brioches, croissants, donuts and full loaves. She never eats them.
Her work captured the attention of the editors over at Garage magazine who collaborated with the Instagram sensation last fall. The just over one-minute long ‘Fine Dining’ video they produced with Bread Face upped the luxury factor with a great setting, gorgeous clothes, a killer manicure as well as fine jewelry from Sidney Garber.

The creative force behind the jewelry label, Brooke Garber Neidich, says she didn’t know anything about Bread Face in advance of the shoot, but thought the results were kind of great. A lot of other people did too. ‘Fine Dining’ was nominated for a Webby, that’s an award for Internet excellence presented by The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, in the Weird category. (You read that right—the Weird category.) The video wasn’t among the winners announced last week for the esteemed prize, but it has garnered our honor for the best jewelry in ASMR content ever. Get the details on the pieces she wore below.
