July 20, 2020—The jewelry news about Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi’s royal wedding is still rolling out and we are here for it, because love and dreamy distraction.
It was announced days ago, on July 18th to be exact, that Shaun Leane, the designer of the Bea’s engagement ring also made her wedding band. Today, we received a picture of the Princess’s jewel and some words about the process from the designer.
The diamond and platinum wedding band has a gentle curve at the front so that it easily fits under the round-brilliant cut diamond center stone on the engagement ring.
According to the press release from the jeweler: The engagement and wedding rings were crafted by hand in the Shaun Leane Mayfair atelier and are set with diamonds of the highest color and clarity, of which all are GIA certified and ethically sourced. The bespoke experience began with a detailed and personal consultation with the groom. Consequently, the design is filled with personal and sentimental signifiers for the couple and unique to them, an approach that is synonymous with Shaun Leane’s bespoke service.
Obviously, the jeweler didn’t reveal the “personal and sentimental signifiers” because they are private.
The groom’s ring, that can be seen in the photo below, was reportedly made by Josh Collins. From what we can see in the photo of the couple, it is a classic yellow gold band.
The last bit of jewelry news that remains a mystery is who designed all those bracelets Beatrice sported. We have noticed she wears them regularly. And think it is so cool that she left on her delicate jewels for the big event.
