Inside Look: Beautiful Creatures on GemX

Join Marion Fasel and Lin Jamison for a webinar on the AMNH exhibition

We are delighted to announce on Wednesday August 4, 2021 at 12pm ET, Marion Fasel, founder and editorial director of The Adventurine and curator of the American Museum of Natural History’s Beautiful Creatures will be joining GemX’s co-founder Lin Jamison for a fun, far reaching and informative conversation about the exhibition located in the Melissa and Keith Meister Gallery in the newly reopened Allison and Roberto Mignone Halls of Gems and Minerals.

The presentation will include video and detailed photos of the installation showing how a JAR snake shares the limelight with a Boucheron cicada brooch, while a Salvador Dalí starfish gleams next to Verdura seashells. And the glowing centerpiece, a kaleidoscope of butterflies made by Belperron, Wallace Chan, among many other of the world’s most recognizable jewelers.
