How Taylor Swift Bejeweled at the Super Bowl
She wore lots of rubies and diamonds in delicate designs
February 11, 2024—Taylor Swift likes to play games. She teased Swifties with Easter Eggs that seemed to be clues she was about to release Reputation (Taylor’s Version) then she announced an entirely new album, The Tortured Poets Department, would be dropping April 19. Swift sleuths were shocked and delighted.
I mention this because the pop star seemed to be playing games with those of us who cover jewelry credits for a living. She was wearing so many different jewelry designers at the Super Bowl, all of us are still tracking down details hours after the game ended and the Chiefs became champions again.
The theme was clearly about color coordinating her jewels with the Chief’s team colors of red, white and gold. Following is what we know as of now. The post will be updated if more credits come in. Oh and for any Swifties reading this, don’t you think the braid in Taylor’s hair and the corseted top is giving Tortured Poets Department energy? You see how Taylor gets us all involved in these puzzles.
Taylor’s ‘87’ Large Varsity Pendant from Stephanie Gottlieb is composed of diamonds and gold.
The jewel marks the launch of Stephanie’s new Varsity line. Clients can customize their own necklace with letters and or numbers made in the iconic varsity-letterman font.
The top necklace in Taylor’s stack is a Stephanie Gottlieb Diamond Tennis Choker in pink gold.
Shay Jewelry made three of Tay’s jewels: the Ruby Solitaire Necklace and a Ruby Eternity Band as well as the ruby and diamond bracelet that’s shown from the back on the photo above. The front has a row of rubies flanked by two rows of diamonds.
Taylor wore multiple earrings in her various piercings.
In one she sported the Heart Twist Earring from the Last Line composed of diamonds Carnelian and gold.
Taylor wore a bezel-set demi ruby ring from Shahla Karimi Jewlery on her left index finger.
On her middle finger Taylor sported a divine Retrouvaí Magna ring set with princess cut rubies.
While everything listed adds up to a lot of jewelry. It’s not all Taylor was wearing. She has on a couple of bracelets and earrings that I have not been able to identify. One could be her now famous TNT bracelet, but I couldn’t get a good image to see the motif.
With all the jewelry and the joy, Taylor made the “whole place shimmer.”
